When you stop to think about the sport of table tennis and how it compares to other sports, there's one aspect of this challenging game that makes this sport unique when compared to other team based games.
For the most part, competitive ping pong is played as an indoor sport. The greater majority of league play takes place indoors on indoor table tennis tables. Even more so is when it comes to table tennis tournaments which are almost entirely played indoors.
Playing table tennis outside for fun on outdoor ping pong tables is something that table tennis players of all skill levels really enjoy. In fact, there's probably more outdoor ping pong tables in the world today than there is indoor tables.
This is the first post of a 2-part series that will focus on the many outdoor ping pong tables that are scattered around the globe. The objective of this 2-part series on outdoor ping pong tables and the people who play on them is simple. To show others just how many different cultures either own or play on outdoor ping pong tables.

Here in Las Vegas there is no such thing as outdoor table tennis because the weather is always maxed out to the limit. If it hot outside then it's extremely hot, if it's cold then it's freezing cold, and if it's windy then it's incredibly windy.

Has anyone here ever tried Thompson's water seal on their ping pong table?
My dad made me put my table outside because I kept putting small holes in the walls.

Thanks so much. What should I call you, Mr.BF? These outdoor table tennis tables are interesting, especially as a group as they are here.
There are many more outdoor table tennis tables around the world so hopefully I'll be able to create a third post on outdoor tt tables in the future.
